What To Expect And What You'll Need To Know

The Drive Into The Campgrounds

Let's take you on your first visit to Green Haven Sun Club. When you reach the front gate you will have to enter a pass code into the keypad located just outside of the gate to gain entrance (this will be given to you when you contact the club prior to your visit) .

There are two bends in the road on the way to the campground. As you come around the last bend you'll see various campsites and mobile homes. Follow the road with the mobile homes. You'll soon spot the campground's clubhouse. Park in front of the Clubhouse.

You've arrived!

Welcome to Green Haven Sun Club. We're pleased that you're here!

Now The Tour

You'll be warmly greeted and taken on a full tour of the grounds. You'll be shown all the amenities and any questions you may have will be answered. If it's a nice day (especially on weekends or holidays), you should expect to see and meet some of our members along the way. Remember that this is a clothing-optional club, so don't be surprised if you encounter nude, semi-nude and clothed people as they go about their day.

Because the club is clothing-optional, you won't be expected to be nude at this point or any other point in your tour unless you wish to dive right in and take the tour nude. It's all up to you! After the tour, should you wish to stay (and we hope you do), you'll be asked to fill out registration forms and such, which only takes a few minutes. If you're choosing a campsite, that will be done at this point, as well. Please be sure that every adult in your party has their driver's licenses with them for ID purposes. If anyone in your party doesn't have a valid driver's license, then some other suitable identification will be required.

Getting Comfortable

You'll be given all the rules for the campground (most can be found on this site under the "Rules" link). Once the paperwork is out of the way, the rest of the day is yours! Why not start by joining us on the clubhouse deck or in the sunning area by the pool. Have a swim (the pool is one place where you are required to be nude) or taking a stroll around the grounds on your own to get more comfortable with the place. Should you wish to be nude, you may leave your bags, cooler and other belongings in the clubhouse or place them in your car if you're more comfortable with that. It's your choice. Of course, if you've arrived with an RV or tent, that becomes your home away from home.

What If I'm Not Ready To Be Nude Just Yet?

This is sometimes the case with many visitors, especially first timers to a club such as ours. This is why we're clothing-optional rather than a strict nudist club. Take all the time you need to get comfortable with your surroundings and with yourself. If you're more at ease staying in your clothes (swimsuits, shorts or whatever), then please do so. If you want to just go topless, by all means. If you wish to get bare and wrap yourself with a towel or sarong, that's okay with us. If you want to just take it all off and go for broke, bravo!

Some people don't try getting nude or partially nude until their second or third visit, and that's just fine with us. It's all about getting into this at your own pace and comfort level. Once you finally give nudism a full try, we can pretty much promise that you're going to be wondering what took you so long. You'll wonder what you were so afraid of. And you'll wonder why you didn't do this years ago!

One thing that you'll notice here is people putting on and taking off clothes throughout the day. Maybe they've had enough sun or have became chilly, or maybe they'll be needing the protection of clothes to do some work. What does this mean for you? Like we said, we're clothing-optional here. We may be nudists, but we're not stupid! Feel free to dress or undress as you wish, when you wish and where you wish on the grounds.
